A Mare

Video installation - Super 16mm Film - 2016

In Italian, "amare" means "to love," and "a mare" means "to go to the sea."
"A Mare" is an internal monologue, a quest that unfolds in natural spaces where the mass, like a substance, comes to life through air and water. The work is presented as a video installation in which sound, an integral element of the narrative process, supports each shot. It undergoes a narrative shift towards the subject's fiction, this being the bearer of an action that can simultaneously be the author, the narrator, or the character.
