Aequador

Experimental film I 20' I 2012 I Filmed in the Amazon

"Aequador" is a wordless travelogue, evoking the drift of a progressive and modernist dream in Latin America. We have imagined a bygone era in which an extremist ideology would have set out to conquer the Amazonian territory. The film describes, in a composite and intentionally fragmented form, this parallel present where the false ruins and relics of utopian 3D architectures coexist with vernacular constructions and the daily life of human beings.
